My Bio
I'm a photographer by trade and lifestyle for nearly 9 years. I cut my teeth in film and rode the wave of transition to digital in the military as a Combat Photographer. I'm currently finding my voice and style as a photographer, while helping others to discover photography.
I'm a little of Column A and some of Column B. I dislike labels, especially when they only serve to truncate understanding of people and the world. I'm constantly learning, and so should all of us be.

I can't believe it's been so long since I was here. Looks like it's been over a year. Kinda freaky. Everything looks so similar, and et so very strange.
Lots of things have happened over the past year. Too much to get into here. I might try to sharing content here again. Not sure though.
Currently, I'm taking college classes, and I'm waiting to hear back on a teaching position. It's not as lame as it sounds. If it works out, I'll actually be an adjunct (see: part time) faculty member teaching photography. Sound cooler now? K.
Anyways, I'm here, alive. And I'm glad to see that my Deviations have been shared and loved.

II've been struggling to deal with what I should do. I've had my issues with the site for a little, but I've tried to make the best of it, I've taken suggestions. And I think I've gotten to the point where I realize that I can't depend on this place to further my career. I've seen my work improve beyond measure over these past 4 years, but the exposure I've hoped for it and the acceptance I dreamed for it have been sadly nonexistence. And the groups....those are a joke. Why submit my photography to a group that has no interest in genuinely helping artists get exposure and improve?
